... No pienso que mucho occurio este semana...
Haha, we had exchanges with the STLs, who are English. I guess I talked about or in Spanish a lot, because as Sister Holt was filling out the exchange forms, in the comments seccion, she wrote, "She REALLY loves Spanish." It made me laugh inside.
We did service at Hermana Tenney's house, and Hermana Blancas dropped us off on her way home from an appointment because Hermana Tenney had been babysitting her ninas. Pues, so the back yard at the Tenney's house wraps around the side of the house, and there's a three-foot fence surrounding it. We get out of the car, and Eva Tenney, she's four, sees us, runs to the fence, climbs over it, and runs as fast as she can, and she's screaming "Hermana Miller!!!" and that was my only hint to bend over for a child-size hug before she rand into me. (: It was sooo cute and it made me so happy. Hermana Lyman was standing next to me like, "Really, Eva? I've known you for three months, and she's only been here 4 weeks!"
I think that's about it for this week. We went to the Tulip Festival with the Tenneys for a noche de hogar, and (this is funny, hold on) our toilet got clogged this week, and we don't have a plunger at our apartment, so we biked to the church to borrow the plunger. The whole way home, I got super weird looks because there was a plunger sticking out of my basket. Yes, we did get a picture, don't worry. (:
Kay, love you all! Write me!
Love,
Hermana Miller
P.S. The library box thing? We would like to put a hard cover Book of Mormon in it. If any of you have a hard cover Book of Mormon lying around that's in good shape, not marked up, and not being used, I wouldn't say no if you wanted the sneaky pants misioneras de Mount Vernon to contribute it to the library box.
And the nino in the cupboard? Haha, we were helping Elvia get her car fixed (she's a recent convert with the problem that she can't English, and her Spanish is as good as ours, because her first language is Mastecco [I think that's how you spell it. It's like Chinese and Spanish mixed, it sounds so cool], so we had to translate for her), and as we were waiting, Geradito climbed into the cupboard. (: He's so cute. We're really sad, though, because they and the rest of their family are moving to California hoy.
